Conoco Phillips/CNOOC Bohai II Development Project
The Bohai Phase II Development Project field is located in Bohai Bay off the northeastern coast of the Peoples Republic of China in 90 feet of water, approximately 140 miles from Tanggu and 85 miles from Dalian. It is being implemented in two phases by ConcoPhillips in partnership with the China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
The current premise for the full field development is based on a peak of 190,000 BOPD production rate with several outlying wellhead platforms producing to a Riser/ Utility platform via sub-sea pipelines. It includes a Central Production complex that comprises a Quarters Platform, a Central wellhead Platform and the Riser/Utilities Platform. The production well streams gathered at the Central production Complex are routed to the main processing facilities on the Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading system (FPSO), and export tankers are used to offload the sales-quality crude from the FPSO.
In this project, Ameron exhibits its capabilities in undertaking a supply, prefabrication and engineering consultation with impeccable execution. The project consists of up to 7000 spools with different modules fabricated in different locations (Singapore, Batam and China) and engineering done in Houston, USA. As part of joint quality control between ConocoPhillips and Ameron, an extensive field service supervision is carried out at all fabrication yards.
In projects of this magnitude, project management and planned execution is the key differentiating Ameron from the rest.
