Many organisations have published and or approved recognized standards, test methods, specifications and recommended practices for Glassfiber Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) piping systems and products.

Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL)
UL is the trusted source across the globe for product compliance. Benefiting a range of customers - from manufacturers and retailers to consumers and regulating bodies - UL have tested products for public safety for more than a century.

Dualoy products comply with: UL Standard 971, dated 2004.

Dualoy piping systems are Listed for all products, applications and fuels included in Standard 971-2004.

Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI)
The mission of the Petroleum Equipment Institute is to be the leading authority and source of information for the petroleum handling equipment industry. PEI is committed to promoting the value of distributor services and improving the business relationships and practices of its members.

The Petroleum Equipment Institute is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is a non-profit corporation. PEI is a trade association whose members manufacture, distribute and service petroleum marketing and liquid handling equipment. Founded in 1951, PEI represents over 1600 member companies located in all 50 states and over 80 countries. Members include manufacturers, sellers and installers of equipment used in service stations, terminals, bulk plants, fuel oil and gasoline delivery, and similar petroleum marketing operations.

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
The authority on fire, electrical, and building safety. The mission of the international nonprofit NFPA is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education. NFPA membership totals more than 79,000 individuals from around the world and more than 80 national trade and professional organizations.

Established in 1896, NFPA serves as the world's leading advocate of fire prevention and is an authoritative source on public safety. In fact, NFPA's 300 codes and standards influence every building, process, service, design, and installation in the United States, as well as many of those used in other countries. NFPA's focus on true consensus has helped the association's code-development process earn accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

American Petroleum Institute (API)
API maintains more than 500 standards and recommended practices covering all segments of the oil and gas industry to promote the use of safe, interchangeable equipment and proven and sound engineering practices.

Dualoy products comply with: API 1615(R2001) Installation of Underground Petroleum Storage Systems.

Underwriters Laboratories Canada (ULC)
Underwriters Laboratories of Canada work in close cooperation with UL in the United States. Testing performed at UL allows Dualoy products to also carry the cUL Listing Mark.
