TAPER/TAPER, adhesive-bonded joint
An adhesive-bonded joint with matching tapered male and female ends offering superior joint strength by controlled adhesive thickness. Available in sizes 2-6 inch (50-150 mm).

2-piece van Stone design flanges are available in sizes 2- through 6-inch (50 to 150 mm.)
Primary Fittings
All standard fittings are available for all Dualoy systems. Couplings, elbows (45 and 90 degree), tees, adapters, reducer bushings, nipples and end caps are included. Fittings are molded or filament wound, depending on the configuration and diameter. Diameter range is from 1-1/2-inch (threaded adapter only) to 6-inch (40 to 150 mm).
Secondary Containment Clamshell Fittings
2-piece clamshell fittings are available for both Dualoy 3000/L size-over-size systems and Dualoy 3000/LCX coaxial systems. All clamshell fittings are compression molded for precise fit to the pipe and an exact match to each other. Threaded nuts are inserted on one of the clamshell halves to allow easy and fast installation of the set with the ability to install it while only needing to work from one side of the fitting. The same adhesive used to bond the primary system together is used for bonding the containment clamshells. The bolts are used to hold the halves in place while the adhesive cures.
Installation of LCX system is from 20% (on small systems) to 50% (on large systems) faster than the size-over-size style.
Either system can be tested at any time and can be continuously monitored (U. S. Patent No. 7,011,102 B2) with any commercially available system. All types of monitoring systems Vacuum, Pressure or Hydrostatic (open or pressurized) can be used. LCX monitoring systems are on the list of Approved equipment by the National Work Group for Leak Detection Evaluations and included in California's LG 113, both for the open and pressurized versions.
The design of the all Dualoy clamshell fitting allows crossovers to be made with a low profile. The same height change can be achieved on 3000/L and LCX systems as would be made on a single wall system. This reduces excavation, backfill and haul-off costs significantly.
